With all the wedding vendors’ insight, Jayde favorite was the photo booth called “Shutter Booth”. Shutter Booth is an elegant photo booth design for fun memories, custom logo and text. “That was a unique wedding idea they came up with,” said Jayde.

Karry Castillo, an event planner that was present, explains the importance of brides having an “Event Coordinator” for their wedding regardless of the wedding size. “Start as early as possible planning your wedding day with the best professional in this field,” said Castillo.

Upcoming Local Artist

Isis Miller is a local artist residing in Orlando, Florida with potential in the music industry. Her lyrics are soulful, rejuvenating, and has a touch of sass.

Isis attends the University of Central Florida majoring in Liberal Studies but refuses to give up her passion for Creative Writing so minors in that subject.

“Inspiration comes from many things including Africa, Science, the Caribbean culture, and having a dream.” (Isis Miller)

Miller is inspired by her Rastafarian beliefs. She also is moved by other cultures such as the Buddhism religion.

Kristal Jones a lover of poetry stated “Isis reminds me of the R&B singer Jill Scott. Being a lover of Def Jam Poetry it is always good to see a performer live because you get to feel the emotions of the artist rather than just read it or watching it on TV.

From watching Isis the audience could tell that she is a very peaceful person. Her feminist beliefs are also a strong part of her expressing who she is as she grows into womanhood.

“I love her voice and you should come out to see her every time she has a chance to perform”, stated Nick. (Employee at Natura Coffee and Tea)

Learning Experience

My learning experience using the "Wall Street Journal Newspaper" with quizzes was a learning expereince. I was learning what was going on in the media today prior to a textbook which will get upgrade for the fall semster with another edition. With all of the things going on in socitey today, everything is changing. In the media, you have to upgrade and revised your information everyday because something new is happening every second, mintue, and hour. I've learn more in Mass Communication with us reading the newspaper, taking a quizz on what we have read, and discuss it as a class with our opinions and as well as Mr. Carpenter opinions. Even with mr. Carpenter knowledge about Mass Commuincations, he taught me some new things with his class discussions.Reading the newspaper enhance my knowledge of what's going on in this economy today, expand my knowledge, and become a better reader.

No, I'm not going to continue my subscription to Wall Street Journal. I am going to read the Orlando Sentinel, which my family receives every sunday prior to reading everyday the newspaper. Plus, I can watch the news on t.v. as well.

To me, the class is fine to me. Just moved into a new building, so next semster, the students will definently have a great time in his class. He is a good professor and knows what he is talking about. Even ask for students ideas and how things effect us in life.

Yes, I'm going to pursue a career in Mass Communications. I want to become a Broadcast Journalist. I'm not for sure what field, but it doesn't matter to me. I'm a confident person with an open-mind about learning things as well as a diligent worker.

Thanks Mr. Ken Carpenter,
See you this summer for News Reporting Class

Which social-networking services do you use?

The social networking services I used is called "Myspace". I used Myspace as much as 2 times a week. It can varies if I'm bored and have nothing to do at home, I get on and browse through people profiles and request them as a friend. The value I put on this website depends; I stay on the website as long as I want, unless I have ither things I need to be doing on the internet. The value I spent is doing my profile over, decorate it or make changes to the profile if I want to. I browse through people profiles, and try to meet new people, or see who knows the same people that I know. Myspace it not important to me; it's just a website where I can communicate with people online or meet somebody new everyday or when I'm on my page. I'm not forsure if I will pay to keep this account. But if I have to, I will pay no more then 5 dollars a month to keep this Myspace Account.

Entertainment

If I can watch a movie over and over stranded on a island, it will be "Love and Basketball". I fell in love with this movie when it came out in 2000. This movie relates to me in a personal way with a person I'm talking to now. How in the movie, the young boy and girl grew up together in the neighborhood as friends playing basketball. In high school, came together as one in high school. Ounicy was a known basketball player who is following his father steps trying to play pro basketball. Monica, on the other hand, is a tom-boy in her family, who is in love with basktball ball in exceed to the WNBA. They went off to University of Southern California with a basketball scholarship. Things didnt work out and went their own seperate ways. Qunicy went to the NBA playing for the Lakers, while Monica, went over seas to play ball. As time went by, Qunicy got injured in his knee, and Monica decided to leave basketball for while and came home to work a 9-5 job. When Monica found out Qunicy was getting married, she realized that she still had love for him reagrdless of anything. She wanted to play a one on one basketball game, and if she wins that willl inform him making the biggest mistake of his life to get married. If Qunicy wins the game, she will go to the wedding and by him a wedding gift. Monica lost the game, and was hurt because she lost the love of her life enternally she thought, until quincy came to her and ask to play another game with him. That's when she realize he love her the same way she does. They lived happily ever after with a beautiful daughter and Monica went to the WNBA for Los Angeles Sparks. I known Sam for eight years now and contining, and we grown up together knowing eacth other from middle school to now. We became close friends while he was doing his thing and me liking him. After we graduate from high school, three days later, i received a call from him stating, " How he wants to take our relationship to the next level". Me, being happy, things didnt work out. He was messing around with another girl and I was doing me. He came to reality and realize what type of person I am and how he had a good gurl, and now he is coming back to be part of my life. We are working out our problems and trying to be united as in one.

I would prefer to seeing a film at a theater; Because of the sound effects the theater provides you with, you can sit back and relax, watch the movie on a wide screen, and you can sit anywhere you want in the theater. Disadvantage: number of people there, interupptions of people getting up, people talking during the movie, kids crying during the moive, advertisement before the movie.

No, I did not watch the Academy Awards on Sunday. I was at working making money then watching the show. I have never sat down and completely watch the entire award ceramony, but will love to someday. Plus, the show is very long at times.
